Hofwijck House

Hofwijck house in Voorburg was built for and by the famous Constantijn Huijgens. He was not only a statesman and poet, but also an amateur architect. Hofwijck is a fine example of renaissance thinking: the house and its gardens form a human body, with the house as its head. The house is a museum now.
