Duivenvoorde castle lies in Voorschoten, a green village between Leiden and The Hague. The castle was built in the 17th century by a member of the Van Wassenaar family in an elegant dutch renaissance style. The castle and its park can be visited. A ticket to the park is also valid on De Horsten royal estate.
